For instance, most zipper pulls, name plates, and even shoe soles will have the logo engraved, not stamped.

Also, never tell a traumatized person they’re taking it personal. Or that some have it worse. Wow, just wow! You’re not sympathizing with them, well you may think you but you’re not. If anything, you’re only worsening their case. Cos if they don’t hate you, they may end up hating themselves and feel they’re probably doing too much by feeling bad and sad about a situation. Now do you want that?
