Had this done a few weeks ago. If it’s a basic extraction with no complications it’s absolutely fine – the anaesthetic injection is just a little prick in your gum, and then you feel no pain.

This still doesn’t really hurt at the time, but there was a lot of blood and it was very painful for a couple of weeks afterwards, and needed stitches, antibiotics, etc.
