The biggest decision that ruin my life was marrying a man who was in prison. He ruined me financially. Turns out he never loved me. He used alcohol and drugs to excess when released. I lost my savings, my home, 2 beloved dogs, and my future. I am now divorced from him (I had to pay for that, of course) and now live on a small Social Security check. I am unable to work even part time due to chronic pain in my back and legs. I have no children, no one to help me financially should Social Security end for some reason.
