This is because once opened, there is no going back, and without proper preparation for the event, and not knowing the side effects, you may find the things you experience to be scary. This is an ability where you may see quickly moving images in your mind, while speaking to people, much like how you would on a television screen. That does not seem too scary, does it? But another symptom is seeing visions, which usually are very clear but can also be very dramatic.
