Hi dear, that’s very bad signal. I mean, if they like you, why have a conversation in a language you clearly don’t understand. When people do that, they are most likely gossiping, that wouldn’t be something you’d like from your fiancé’s parents. This remind so of me when work took me to Paris, I had zero knowledge of French. It was a total disaster, I kept wondering why I was sent to a Paris branch office. As expected, they didn’t like me. First, the language problem. Second, I was just not liked, which was made very obvious the first day I reported there. They comfortably discussed me even when I was seated with them, just because I couldn’t understand their language. If they like you, no matter how love their local dialect, conversing in English when you come around shouldn’t be something that difficult to do provided they can speak English.
