It depends on the pattern of your period cycle that how regular is your mensuration based on that you can have an idea about how much you are in danger zone of getting pregnant in your period. A sperm can survive for five days inside you. If your eggs are released within the 5 days since the sperm is travelling inside your uterus you have a large chance of being pregnant. In general average girl’s ovary release their eggs around 14th day of when your last cycle was started. So within a week chances are very less and it maximizes between 10th to 20th day. After 20th day it is again safe to have sex if you don’t want to be pregnant.
