However you have to get to the train station- the job market- and find the train your ticket will work for – the company that will hire you. Hiring is not guaranteed even for the ivy league graduates. The traditional thinking is that by obtaining a college degree you’re proving to future employers that you have achieved a baseline understanding of the subject matter and that you have developed a certain set of useful skills during your academic career.

There is no need to sugar coat the truth. Being naive is a combination of being stupid, simple, inexperienced and ignorant. There is nothing right or wrong about being naive. People who are naive should work hard to fix it, and to fix it quickly. Otherwise they will not be respected and valued members of our society. The problem is people will rarely identify their naivety, and will take all efforts made by others as an insult. Those who take the insult as constructive criticism will set on the right track to becoming better/more useful people.
