Knowing the local market, cannabis regulation laws and limitations for starting up the cannabis business are crucial. There are many things to consider before a state can even consider legalizing marijuana. Is the state ready to bring out of jail, all the people that have been jailed as a result of dealing? Are there medical facilities available in cases of overdoses and addictions? If these things are not in place, a state has no business legalizing marijuana for profit making.
