If you think your pay should be raised cos your workload increased, then that’s a very weak reason and your employer May decided not to do the needful. They may as well reduce your workload and reduce your pay. If you think you’re due for a raise, then you must’ve been doing something great at work, your impact must’ve been felt at work, and not just about the workload you do.

You have to understand that empathy isn’t a method that you apply in situations when you want to.Being empathetic is a mindset, all the details you throw away when applying logic and reason suddenly have much more weight. A combination of things can help you to become more empathetic. The biggest factor in most of this is learning psychology. It will help you understand the basics how people work, why they percieved things certain ways, and how their perceptions affect their reality. At its core, this can give you the very basics of empathy. I think understanding basic psychology helps.

I’ve heard people say that you shouldn’t let dogs sleep in your bed or allow them to sit on your couch but I’ve never heard any of that backed up from the trainers I’ve gone to with my current dog. I have friends that do both, it seems to be a personal comfort thing. But do remember that dogs will be content with what they know. If at some point you decide you do not want your dog on the bed, he or she may no longer be content to sleep on the floor.
