What is the best way to respond to a relationship-ending text?
Actually, I’ve never received such text but I did send a relationship ending text and I am not exactly proud of it as I am much more of an "in your face" type of person. Actually, I’ve never received such text but I did send a relationship ending text and I am not exactly proud of it as I am much more of an “in your face” type of person. We had a pretty cool relationship. We helped each other and had each other’s back. The biggest issue however was her flakiness. She would set up a time to meet and when time comes she would not even text to cancel. Weeks would go by and then she will text again like nothing happened. I’ve called her out on it before. I told her of she did it again, our friendship would be on the line. She didn’t believe me. She did it one more time and I got fed up. We never spoke on the phone only text or in person. I told her that I wished her well but I will not reach out to her again. I blocked her from the little social media I am on and only left LinkedIn connection as we are both in the corporate world. I never heard back but since we live in the same town, I will not be surprised if I run into her sometime in the future.
