Ordinarily, religion shouldn’t be a criterion in determining who to marry and who not to marry. But the Bible sure does not consent to a believer getting involved with unbelievers. Because if you think about it, how would a believer, love a nonbeliever unconditionally? Even if they claim to love each other, it will get to a point either party would start to drag the other party to their side. Then what happens? The unbeliever becomes a believer? The believer becomes an unbeliever? As much as I’d really love to say religion ought not to have a role in marriage institution, it does have a role. A very important one for that.
