Feeling unlovable can make you develop low self esteem as it messes with your confidence. How did I deal with mine? I decided to start seeing whoever sees me, I started seeing myself more. The more I saw myself, the more I started to really enjoy my space. Before others will love you, you have the job of loving yourself first, unconditionally.

Learning to compromise, relationships are not always rosy. To keep a relationship going, you have to move out of your comfort zone at times to do things which you might not do if you were not in a relationship. Respect for each other and for people related to the other person is very important. In any relationship, the basic requirement is to respect each other and all the people related to them. If you can’t do this, spare the other one some peace and just move out. Also, stay respectful even when you’re angry. Control your tongue. Nobody wants to listen to derogatory stuff for oneself.
Being honest and truthful – Nobody wants to build relationships on lies. It won’t last. No tower lasts on loose foundations. It is better to stay honest and say the truth. Obviously some people might not like it. But then, you don’t need such people too in your lives. Reduce the crowd and give yourself some space. Keep the ones who appreciate your honest soul.
Not keeping secrets and hiding stuff – I am not saying that one needs to give second to second update, but at least the basic information should be shared with other person using personal discretion. Never hide stuffs with a malicious intent. Ability to trust the other person with anything and everything— You must be able to trust the person with everything about you, knowing that they will not use it against you. Now, if the person doesn’t meet this criteria, he/she is not worthy to be in your life.
