The thing about mind games is they’re hard to call out and easy to deny. You more than likely won’t have any solid evidence that this is happening. The thing about mind games is they’re hard to call out and easy to deny. You more than likely won’t have any solid evidence that this is happening. Thus, confronting them may give them more ammunition. I cannot stand this shit at all so I tend to gravitate more to people who are forthright and genuinely kind. I like spikey people, blunt people, people with no filter, the ones who aren’t afraid to disagree with you or call you out on shit and that’s because you will always know where you stand with them.
All you can do is trust your own judgement and intuition. There are lots of slippery fuckers out there. The minute you become pretty sure you’re dealing with a passive aggressive, manipulative, spineless Twonk that would engage in mind games, by all means let them know what you think but your best bet is to avoid them altogether or if you can’t, minimise contact.

Some people like to think they know it all and think they know you so well, that they have the right to dispense any advice to you, like golden nuggets falling from heaven. Like pearls before swine. Some people are dense and just generally think they know better than you where you should work, what job suits you best, and how you should live life. And all that goes on with you.
