In my career, the only times we are asked for web usage reports are when either the employee isn’t getting their work done, or they are asking for a rather large raise. Either way IT doesn’t have time to watch or review anything. To my knowledge the information has never been used to threaten or browbeat employees into compliance. It seems that once trust has been lost between an employer and the employees, the rabbit hole to enforcing compliance is long and deep.
