Currently, there are no known effective treatments for Progeria, with most patients succumbing to the disease in their teens. There have been several attempts to reverse the Progeria symptoms. A recent study involving FTIs has shown efficacy in treating symptoms of Progeria, using metrics such as weight gain, decreases in arterial pulse wave velocity, increases in skeletal rigidity, and sensorineural hearing. Why don’t you ask him the way forward. Asking him will help you prevent any unnecessary heartbreak. He might not be thinking in that direction of getting back. Some times, people are better off as friends than partners. You need to understand this too. But you should talk to him first, clear things.
