Once you eat a meal, as long as nothing is acidic in what you eat, then you can brush right away. However, sometimes the acidity is hiding in the food that you eat. Dentists recommending that everyone wait at least 30 minutes after eating to brush their teeth. This is because they will obtain better results when it comes to brushing. When acidic items are left sitting on the outside of the teeth, this weakens the enamel. When you brush while the enamel is weakened, this can break down the outside of the teeth much faster. Giving the teeth at least 30 minutes to reduce the acid and to neutralize the enamel and bacteria in the mouth, you can ensure that you are able to brush safely.

It could also be a form of epilepsy or like in my case, a warning for my narcolepsy. Sleep deprivation can also cause chaos on the brain as well as stimulants. More so if you have both at the same time. It can be something serious, or maybe as simple as a vitamin deficiency. It’s best to talk to a doctor.
