The milder form of autism is what we call Aspergers Syndrome or others call High functioning Autism. With Aspergers or High Functioning autism people still have many of the traits of autism but they are able to function much like their peers. They usually have some social issues including anxiety in social situations. They may have trouble starting and or ending a conversation. Appropriately. They lack the social awareness to know when someone wants to end a conversation or they will butt into a conversation and start talking about what is on their mind, whether or not it is on topic or not. My niece is on the high end of the spectrum. When two adults are talking she will butt into others conversations with what happened to her not understanding that the topic of conversation was about something totally different.
