Becoming numb to pain and loosing ability to feel pain and tragedy is far worse than feeling the pain. This is what actual depression looks like my friend. Depression isn’t being sad all the time, it is literally this. I have depression and I get it. My recommendation is seek a counselor and a doctor. Medication helps a lot in this situation. Depression manifests in different ways for different people. Some people stay genuinely sad all of the time and are always crying. Others feel totally numb. Major depressive disorder brings about feelings of numbness or emptiness during episodes. That is actually the deepest level of depression. You get so far down you can’t even muster the energy to feel anything.

Depending on gestational age, there are risks with sedation of any kind, and medical procedures, in general. But those risks as no higher than if you have sedation for a dental procedure. Abortion is safe up to 9 weeks, medical abortion is safe and effective. Surgical abortion is easy up to about 12 weeks, but somewhat more complicated up to about 16 weeks.

This is basically a version of how I’ve always used Hyaluronic acid, after a lot of trials and errors. The only thing is, I’m so dry I do have to follow up with a moisturizer. If you don’t have any hyaluronic acid or if you can’t use it for some reason, you can still do this simple trick- keeping your face ever so slightly damp for a few minutes after cleansing- right before applying your moisturizer for very similar results. It’s the same principle: almost all moisturizers contain at least one or a few humectants, whether they’re in the form of any of the different kinds of hyaluronic acid, or glycerin, snail essence or any ceramides or peptides.
