Yes. I’m from Finland, and I just returned to work after 3 weeks of paternity leave. I don’t think we would have made it otherwise since the baby was delivered by c-section, so my wife was very weak for a long time after the delivery so I had to do most of the work at first. Men have the right to be with their new born just as the mother does. Being a father of two, I know how tired—and if the baby was delivered by C-section—both the baby and the mother need care for at least 3 weeks. The first days of the baby are very important as well physical contact create bonds with the mother and father the more time you spend with him/her the more a relationship will develop.

Almost no woman who is raped and impregnated wants to have a child. They didn’t have a choice if they wanted to have a child. They should be able to have abortion. All other people shouldn’t because they had a choice to have a child. Also, since women who got pregnant without their consent can easily opt for abortion, women who may have carelessly gotten pregnant but don’t wish to should also be accorded such right, as abortion is fairly accepted in just few places.

Why is breastfeeding in public seen an unhealthy idea?

Breastfeeding, like any other necessary bodily function, should be done without shame, but in a courteous manner to those around you. Pick a seat in a corner, have your friends sit obscuring you to the public. If you ever see a woman breastfeeding her child alone, ignore her. She probably feels vulnerable as it is. If I was breastfeeding a baby in public, umm be sure to cover, as there are people who might not like such view.
