government run program’s intent is to provide healthcare. The military has a healthcare system, where the government runs thousands of hospitals and clinics both in the US and it in numerous other countries. The quality of care is good, and costs are contained by providing services within those facilities rather than sending the patient out of the system. Anyway, when the choice is profit or people, private companies inevitably chose profit. Government run systems may not always be efficient, but they tend to be effective. A system such as that which exists in France, where everyone has a baseline of coverage, but consumers can opt to pay for additional insurance to pay for things such as private rooms might work. That would be a mechanism for getting the best of both a socialized and privatized system.

Narcissism means self-love which in itself is not pathological. It is how we come to understand accepting one’s strengths and weaknesses and building self-esteem. This is normal and as a ‘normal’ person matures, they learn to have regard for themselves as well as others. This is the primary distinction between normal and pathological narcissism which is recognized as a full-blown disorder by the Diagnostic Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders carefully revised over the years as new clinical findings come to light.
