Your identity becomes one with a collective memory and a pool, everyone becomes one in spirit. Many religions skirt around this same issue, when you die your identity which is compromised of memories will change entirely. You might become one with the Universe or your memories might be carried on, but the identity you have and the way you know those memories won’t stay the same.
