Doctors are terrifying, especially neurosurgeons. I work in the medical field and they’re truly devoid of humanity. to become a surgeon, you have to essentially give up your free time and all semblance of mental health in exchange for massive amounts of knowledge, money, and authority. The saddest part is that they never really get to enjoy the fruits of their labor. I know doctors in their 70s worth millions who are miserable in their jobs but will never retire because they can’t imagine doing anything else. Pretty tragic I guess.
