      Therapists often expect their client to lie (at least at first encounter), so it’s always quite easy for them to detect lies immediately they’re presented with it. However, therapists are humans like everyone else, in as much as they try to always know when someone lies to them, they cannot always detect every bit of lies. Also, if they can detect all lies, they cannot force their clients to tell the truth. It’s part of their makeup, that one of the other things that make them a therapist. They read people.

However, whatever you do indoor has no business with the law enforcement agencies or even judgmental individuals. You can engage in gay relationships with your partner, no restrictions for that but it should be consensual and also in private. If it is the case that you will be in India for a while and not that you’re settling down permanently, it is advisable to not make public your sexuality for the period you’d be around. Keep yourself reserved with whomever you will be with. India is a very nice place that you will enjoy so far you don’t break any of their rules. And as a foreigner, you will definitely attract lots of attention and special treatments.
