However, therapists are humans like everyone else, in as much as they try to always know when someone lies to them, they cannot always detect every bit of lies. Also, if they can detect all lies, they cannot force their clients to tell the truth. It’s part of their makeup, that one of the other things that make them a therapist. They read people.
