How many episodes do I need to publish to be a top podcaster?

I would recommend at least 10. At the same time, 5 or more should give listeners a good idea of what your show is about. Based on your production process, it might be good to write an arc for your season. Giving your show a complete idea from start to finish helps people connect with it, and if they like it they will want more. Also from a making money standpoint, unless you have a big network to convert to listeners or some star power, you will be hard pressed to make money until you get between 50 and 70 episodes.
