      Honestly, a client asking you to reduce your rate is the biggest red flag. But I’d also consider poor communication to be a red flag, as well. If they can’t clearly convey to you what it is that they need, or if they keep changing their mind. Any client who says they have an urgent job is a walking red flag for me. I have fallen for that when I first started but quickly learned that urgent jobs are never urgent. So now I say I don’t accept urgent jobs due to my schedule and the job, all of a sudden, becomes not so urgent.

      Child actors who are 2-6 years old can be on set for 6 hours a day, but they can only work for 3 hours. For actors ages 6 through 9, they can be on set for 8 hours, but work for only 4 hours. Actors ages 9 through 16 can be on set for 9 hours, but they can only work for 5 hours if it’s school time.Read more
