If my daughter wants to be with a 31year old I would try and understand why before getting upset. That’s if there’s anything to get upset about.

If it’s not required that you publicly announce your sexuality at your place of work, you can decide to just keep such information with yourself. If you feel you may not be able to handle the environment, I guess you will have to find another job. Your happiness matters a lot, if you’re not happy at your place of work, you can’t deliver well.
