He doesn’t even hide it anymore, he just feels “oh I feel like going through Moe’s journal” and he goes through Moe’s journal. I’ve told him to stop countless times, I’ve trued hiding it. That only generated more problem. I’m not comfortable with him reading the stuff I put in my journal. He’s my husband, yeah, but that’s supposed to be something really personal.

He probably thinks you have so much secrets. Maybe you should consider the fact that is not totally okay to keep a private journal in a house you stay with your husband and probably your kids. What if your children will find out about those things you’ve written down? I do not know what you have written there. But maybe he wants to know about you, maybe he just wants to understand you. But that doesn’t erase the fact that he has a fault.
I suggest you create another journal. One you keep up with when he’s not at home or when you go to work. If you’re working class, you could just let the new journal look so ordinary, mix it with your the diaries and documents you carry to work everyday. He can never think you’d have such private thing so littered around. He’ll most likely look for it in hidden places, and except you stop writing in the old one, he wouldn’t have cause to start thinking you have a new one.
