It is verypossible. It happens when you eat well and you exercise more.Your body fat decreases while you gain muscles.Your body get toned. Weightlifting is a great way to do that. Seems like you have skinny fat, if that is the case focus on eating good fats, avoid junk food and exercise for 30–45 minutes for 5–6 days in week. You can go for running,biking,swimming or gymming. Any physical activity which you like would do even playing outdoor games. Always keep your meals in a decreasing order i.e. Breakfast should be the heaviest and dinner be the lightest. Include proteins in breakfast and salad in dinner. This all is enough.You are good to go.
You see, when you lose fat, you loose it everywhere, not just where you would like. So in order to lose your belly, without losing your whole body weight, you actually would need to visit the gym for a few months, build more muscle, so up your weight, and then diet back down to keep the size you are now but without the belly. If you have never set foot in a Gym, you are lucky though. This means you will be able to get some newbie gains. This means, your body will be building new muscle and lose fat at the same time.
