I said what I said, why does the lgbtq 🏳️⚧️ Community have to be so controversial and difficult?

The fact that when the non-lgbtq want to support those in that community, there are those who expect us to do so, all while demonizing us. This is a problem with many modern civil rights movements really. I want them to have the same freedom as their fellow queer people in my reservation and I want to support them, but when I get talked down to for being a straight cis-male, something I don’t have any control over, it makes me want nothing to do with their community.
As a lesbian myself, I dislike how many lgbt people have an issue with other people in the community. Particularly lesbians and gays seem to diminish others’ sexualities, for example there’s a lot of biphobia, transphobia, even racism and sexism within lgbt- like, come on guys. This community is meant to be about being free to love who you love. Don’t take that away from other people.
