I think this is one of the things that no one should have an opinion about. Our society needs to stop with the shaming. Every mom is shamed for crap like breastfeeding. This undermines her ability to do what is best for her child. We all suffer from this because instead of investing in mankind for our future we’re isolating mothers and telling them they don’t know what is best for their children including feeding them when they’re fucking hungry. For the record my wife is a breastfeeding mother who is very discreet when feeding our son in public but that is her personal choice, nobody should be shamed into caring for their child in a certain way.
Breastfeeding, like any other necessary bodily function, should be done without shame, but in a courteous manner to those around you. Pick a seat in a corner, have your friends sit obscuring you to the public. If you ever see a woman breastfeeding her child alone, ignore her. She probably feels vulnerable as it is. If I was breastfeeding a baby in public, umm be sure to cover, as there are people who might not like such view.
