Why is binance blocking the accounts of many users— especially users from nigeria?
Binance has a risk management system that was designed to detect any weird event on your portal. The algorithm on the platform analyses each withdrawal attempt you make, password reset attempts, two-factor authentication reset, and email address change. Also, the binance platform can block or lock accounts if they’ve received order from government to do so.
Binance have the right to freeze or lock any account in its platform once it senses suspicious activities. This means, in an effort to keep the Binance space safe, the company has to take some safety measures. Many of the accounts currently on restriction are so because of the request of law enforcement.
