  1. You have combination skin, I have it too, and moisturizing helps. A gel moisturizer is really good because it’s not greasy, so it won’t make you look more oily but it will help hydrate your skin. Your oily parts are probably overproducing oil because they’re dried out. So I’d recommend moisturizing your whole face morning and night. It will take time, but moisturizing will slowly make your face produce less oil.

  2. I have a very oily t-zone as well and I usually use a water-based cleanser, rosewater toner and a blend of jojoba oil and rose absolute essential oil to moisturizer. I found that patting a few extra drops of oil into my t-zone actually really helped reduce the oiliness and shininess, I know it sounds like it would make the problem worse but a friend suggested it to me and I’ve been surprised.
