I really do not see any thing that changes year after year, except I look older, hair gets greyer and I am still the same person as I was on the 31st December. Being January 1st makes no difference to me at all, except I know I will soon be a year older. If you want to be a new person in the way you treat people, talk to them, act properly and whatever else you wish to change you can do that at any time of the year.
No, I don’t. Instead of waiting for what you call a special occasion to change something you don’t like about yourself you should be actively trying to improve each day of the year. A person that will actually create a change in their life won’t need to wait for a special time they will work towards making the change upon discovering one needs to be made. Otherwise it is likely to be some empty promise that will never be fulfilled.
