Why does no one seem to care about jussie smollette lying concerning his case?
That guy lied and is facing consequences for it. I consider myself a progressive person, but I think a lot of these abolitionists are ridiculous. He should be doing time for this, he intentionally tried to increase the political tension between democrats and republicans which is fucking awful man. What he did was a shame to those who suffer real discrimination.
While I am glad he was found guilty, it’s pathetic that he will likely only get probation. Faking a hate crime should carry the same sentence as committing one, not to mention him lying over and over again on the stand. He should at very least be forced to pay for all of the resources used by the Chicago PD and the court system throughout this process.
