The older you get, the more you start caring less about what other people think about you. People are going to think what they want anyway. I only get this one life, and it’s mine. Why waste time watering myself down to make someone else feel more comfortable? Being able to look at myself in the mirror every day, being happy to live with who I am is more important than what someone else may think of me. Once you reach that point, not caring seems to come very easily.
The people who have shitty opinions of you? Just look at them. The longer you do that and think about how imperfect they are, the less you will care. Also, think about what you want for your life. Set high goals to achieve those things. Work hard on those goals. You’ll be too busy to notice any of those idiots, and you’ll give them more things to have opinions about.
