If you’re exposed to indirect smoke, you’re almost at the same risk level as a direct smoker. This means that, every other health issue a direct smoker can be exposed to as a result of smoking, you’re also exposed to them. The best thing is to dissociate yourself from smoking environments, to prevent yourself from inhaling indirect smoke.
Also known as, secondhand smoking, both direct and indirect smoking can cause serious health issues in a person. Although, worse in the cases of direct smokers. Non smokers, who however inhale smoke exhaled from smokers and smoke from the other end of the cigarette can be affected by chemicals contained in the smoke. And the longer you continue to be exposed to indirect smoke, the higher and greater your risks are. A person can develop asthma, cardiovascular diseases, lung cancer as a result of secondhand smoke.
