All in all, the difference between love and like has something to do with the depth of your emotion towards somebody. Liking may give you that warm, fluttery feeling inside but it’s mostly superficial. Love involves deeper, stronger emotions, while like is more of a tender feeling towards that special someone. Love can withstand a lot of things whereas like cannot.
yes, there is indeed a difference between the two, love is a feeling that is way more intense than liking someone could ever be, when you like someone it could be physical, it could be emotional too but it would never really compare to love which is more of a feeling that would shake your entire being and it would definitely be unconditional.
